Everyones dream house :)

Now, you cant tell me that when you see this house you cant help but wish it is your, right? ha ha. Chase and I have been working for a couple of months on our house! We are still not done with the outside but it got a fresh coat of paint and it seemed to help a little with the TLC that was in dyer need!

" Before"
" After"our barn "Before"
"After"
I wasn't able to get my "before" pictures of our kitchen that I took because my computer isn't working, so you just get the "after" effect! (excuse the mess)
We are so excited to be able to move into it soon. We still have to finish the family room floor and laundry room but those hopefully wont take that long! For our first house it is going to be a nice place to start our lives together and we can not wait!

Summer fun!

This summer has gone by so fast! We had such a great time spending time with our families. Here's what we've done this summer...

We went with Chases parents to Vegas to see Coldplay in concert (highly recommended!) and had so much fun!
We had pretty good seats too!

We went to an "outdoorsy" hotel and casino and they had this little car outside. I couldn't help myself to a few pictures! The main reason we went there is because I really wanted to see an aquarium, but didn't want to pay the $15 to stand and watch fish swim. We heard about this hotel and that it had an aquarium in it and it was FREE! Oh and that there was a real life mermaid (I was actually really excited about that part)! We walked in and it was right in the front lobby and was actually really big. I sat there watching the fish forever and waiting for my mermaid!

How cool am I? Chase was laughing at me because I was pushing my way through the crowd of little kids just so I could have my picture taken with her! haha.
After we came back from Vegas, it was time for the Wilson Family Reunion! I love our family reunions, we always have a ton of family there (usually over 80) and stay up late playing games and catching up. This year we went to Lincoln City, OR! I love the beach and looking for whales, dolphins and sharks. I usually never see anything but I try and convince myself that I saw a fin! This year was different, I saw Whales!! yay! I wasn't able to take a picture because I was too afraid that I would miss the whale doing a cool jump. :) On our way back to Washington we decided to stop by the Portland Zoo. I have to say that I was really disappointed with it. There were a lot of animals that weren't there, but the best part of the zoo was the elephant. My sister, Valynn, can do a really good elephant impression so we told her to do it. Right after she was done the elephant picked up this log and chucked it out of the pen and it landed next to a bench and almost hit a couple. We thought it was really funny and it was the highlight of the zoo for me!
OK so its not a log, but its a REALLY big stick!

My nieces and nephews (minus one) at the penguins
Now that summer is nearly over I'm really looking forward to being able to stay inside and have hot chocolate, curl up in a blanket and watch movies. I also want to take a cake decorating class too, if anyone knows of any around here let me know and we can go together! :)
