Our Honeymoon

This post is out of order but here it is... Our Honeymoon

We went on our honeymoon the beginning of May to Kauai, HI! It was so much fun. We went on a zip line, kayaking, hiking to a waterfall, we went to a lot of fun beaches and we took a 7 hour charter boat up the Na Pali Coast and over to the "forbidden island" to go snorkeling. It was such a fun place and Kauai is so beautiful! We'll definitely be going back!

I love palm trees

Our very own private beach... Hideaway beach, it was

amazing and small so there was hardly anyone else there!

Sending Mike off on his misson!

Mike entered the MTC on June 25th. It was a happy-sad-emotionally draining day for my family! I made the mistake of wanting to go down with my parents to take him in! When we dropped him off at the church we all went into the chapel for a meeting before all the missionaries left. The opening song was "Called to Serve" and my sister and I lost it, and from then on it wasn't pretty! I felt like we were the only ones crying so early into the program! But it was good to see him so excited to start his mission! We'll miss him like crazy but time will fly by... hopefully :)

a little update

Its been a little while since I last posted so here's an update...

Chase and I have been house sitting for his voice teacher and she has 3 indoor cats. I'm not a big fan of cats, especially indoor ones. I started to get sick and didn't know if it were allergies so we decided to come back to my parents for the nights to see how I did. We were at my parents for a few days and I wasn't getting better, so we went to the doctors and found out that I had bronchitis... again! So this past week Ive been laying around the house, and haven't had anything too exciting happen.

Chase has been working hard on our house and the basement will be done in hopefully a week! Once the carpet is in we'll be living in the basement until the upstairs is finished!! YAY! :)

So life has been crazy these past couple of months... hints me not posting since Jan! I decided that its been long enough, so I'll try to fill everyone in.

Chase went to Hawaii with Pasco Highs 10th Ave. Choir the beginning of April and once he got home he caught a bad cold... he was coughing and threw up a few days before we went to the temple. The day that we were going through the temple for the first time was definitely unforgettable! At the end of the session everyone was waiting in the celestial room for Chase and I to walk in. All of the sudden they see three temple workers carrying Chase into the room and he was white as a ghost and was near fainting. I was left in the other room confused and worried what was wrong... I was actually praying that Chase wouldnt throw up in the Celestial room of all places! He sat in a chair for about 15 mins until he was able to stand on his own. The next couple of days he stayed in bed while my sisters, mom and i worked on getting everything ready for our wedding.

Our wedding was amazing. We got married in the Columbia River Temple April 25th, 2008. Heres a few pictures

The day after our wedding I took Chase to Urgent Care and we found out the he had walking pneumonia. While we opened our wedding gifts, chase had to wear a mask... i'll put a picture up here soon.

Over all our wedding was amazing and definitely unforgettable!!
